No, the community is absolutely free. You are able to post in the community feed, add friends, share videos and photos, read the latest news and more.

We have gone to great lengths to provide a robust and correct anthology of events relating to THE DOORS. However, most of the events are over 40 years in the past and poor documentation and fuzzy memories may lead to discrepancies. If you feel that we have listed an event, photo, attribution, or story incorrectly, please let us know. You may contact us via the Feedback Form, private message "The Doors," or just add a comment on the article.

We only send out about one e-mail per month updating fans across the world with new updates and shows.

Not all songs are available for individual purchase, but are available by purchasing the full Album.

For orders received between 8AM and 5PM US CENTRAL (CHICAGO) time, we typically ship within 2 BUSINESS days (business days are Monday-Friday). Orders received on a Friday or weekend will ship the following week -  including Priority and Express Mail.

Once orders are completed and shipped by our fulfillment department, package delivery times vary accord to the following chart:

  • USPS First Class: 3-7 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail: 2-5 business days
  • USPS Express Mail: 1-2 business days
  • USPS First Class International: 7-45 business days
  • USPS Priority International: 5-12 business days
  • USPS Express International: 3-6 business days

Shipping times include weekdays only and do not include weekend days.

You will also receive an email from our shipping system containing your tracking # when your outgoing package is scanned by the USPS. If you have not seen your shipping email, please check your spam folder.

THE DOORS Online Store makes available physical copies - compact discs and vinyl LPs - of select products. Some albums may no longer be available as a CD/LP and are only available digitally.

All physical items in our store are available to be ordered and shipped internationally. Digital Download Products are only available in the United States.

You DO NOT have to download the Java Download Manager to access your files.  For all album and single-song purchase you have the option to download the individual song files directly.

Downloading and Using the Java Download Manager:

Our Java Download Manager is a server-side application used to streamline the album download process. With the exception of perhaps needing to update your computer’s Java, nothing else is required to run this process successfully. The Java Downloader WILL NOT work on mobile devices as Java is typically not enabled.

  1. After the manager downloads, choose to open it.
  2. If you are prompted, you may need to choose “Open With” Java (in other words, leave the default and do not change it to “Save File”). You may check the bottom box to skip this step with future album downloads.
  3. Next, Java will launch on your computer and open a window that invites you to select a location for your album download. The default will typically be "My Music". You can change which folder to store the album using the drop-down menu at the top. If you want to store the album in "My Music," click Select. The "Download Manager" will open and begin downloading your purchase.
  4. Once the album/bundle is complete, the "Download Manager" will offer the option to Close or Open the folder containing the downloaded media (Note: the "Download Manager" automatically creates a folder using the name of the bundle product and downloads all tracks with proper sequential numbers and naming). Media is ready to load into iTunes, Windows Media Player, Napster, Real, and any other jukebox or player application, as well as sync with any handset, burn to CD, etc.

Go to "My Dashboard", located at the top left of the screen. Click on "Edit" in the "My Account" section. In the "E-mail Address" field, replace the old address with the up-to-date e-mail address you wish to use. You will also need to input your password in the "Current Password" field located directly above the "E-mail Address" field. Click "Save Profile" at the bottom of the page. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to validate the change.

Digital Downloads (5)

All devices and handsets capable of storing and playing full-length music files support our DRM-Free MP3 downloads. This includes iTunes/iPhone etc. You will have no problem opening MP3s on such devices and storing them in your music folders and libraries. This will be just as easy on a PC as it would be on a Mac.

Most computers/browsers default to a certain location automatically - oftentimes, this is a folder called "My Music" or “My Videos” within the main "My Documents" folder on the hard drive. AOL users often default to "My Downloads" within their AOL folders and iTunes to their own iTunes music folders, etc.

You can always tell your computer where you want to save your files by opening your player of choice, and configuring the destination folder or location from the top options menu. You can also control this by changing your browser settings. However, we strongly recommend that you choose to save the file on your desktop from the download prompt so it is easier for you to access after the download is completed then moving the file to your desired location.
